The Slow Art Club (Australia)

I am QP- a mixed media artist who loves capturing slow moments and small joys in my paintings and illustrations. This club is simply for people who love my art and want to collect a unique art print/post card each month at a super affordable rate. You can use the postcard as an art print or send it to a friend with a little note on the back! 

Analogue media is often what I resort to as an artist when I need inspiration and I want to extend the same practice for my lovely subscribers! 

Upon subscribing, every month the subscribers will get: 

1) An A6 Postcard that can also be used as an Art print
2) A heartfelt letter from QP 
3) A monthly bonus (expect a matching sticker, an activity or anything whimsical) For June you’ll be getting both a sticker and an activity! 

This is my effort to slow down time and to tap back into our childlike wonder. My hope for you is to live up the small joys of life in a world where consumerism keeps growing and only grand things or big milestones are celebrated. 

You'll be billed once a month on the date that you initially subscribe and can cancel for the following months anytime. The mail will be sent out during the first week of every month. If you have any other questions please feel free to leave an email at theslowbarn@gmail.com. 

Please note that the envelope is sent out on a snail mail (traditional mail basis) without tracking. This is partly to keep the prices affordable for everyone and to keep the essence of snail mail intact. Please remember to email me anytime there’s any issue since I have no way to know otherwise. 

Shipping is already included in the price. The mail is dispatched in the 1st week of every month and does take 6-8 business days to arrive (in Australia) and 3-4 weeks for international subscribers.

What is the Slow Art Club? 

The Slow Art Club is a monthly subscription mail club where you sign up and get a postcard, a letter and a bonus delivered to you monthly. 

When does registration open?

I plan to open registrations on the 5th of every month and close registrations on the 25th of every month so that everyone can receive their letters on post on time. To receive the package you have to sign up between the 5th to 25th of the month before. For example, to receive the print for December, you’ll have to join the slow art club before 25th November. 

Sometimes there will be surprise extensions till the 28th or 30th of the month; stay tuned on our social channels to know more! [I am the most active on a TikTok feed and IG stories- My handle is @call.me.qp]

How will I be billed?   

You'll be billed AUD 9 monthly on the date you initially subscribe. For example if you signed up on 15th October (for November), you’ll be billed on the 25th of every month for the following month. You can opt out or cancel for the next months anytime.  

When can I expect my package? 

I ship out the envelopes on the first week of every month and international ones even earlier when possible. 

The package will be sent via post so it cannot be tracked but ideally shipping takes 1-3 weeks for recipients in Australia (usually even lower than that) and 3-6 weeks for members abroad. If you face any trouble or do not receive it within that time frame please leave me an email at theslowbarn@gmail.com. (Make sure you enter all your details when you subscribe and for identification email with the id you signed up with) 

How can I change my shipping address? 

If you move and want to change the address for delivery simply email me the updated details along with your old information at theslowbarn@gmail.com. 

Which countries are you shipping to? 

The Slow Art Club is active globally and shipping to all countries covered by the Shopify. There is NO added charge for shipping!
